Volleyball, beer and great food!

By Jenn Kreller

Enjoying the sun, feet in the sand on K-W’s best patio, Beach Paradise Club revived local professionals from their air conditioned offices to participate in Bobby O’Brien’s Beach Volleyball Bash. With the intention of creating a fun, social environment at a local establishment, Beach Paradise Club hosted a mini-corporate tournament with six teams participating over a three week period. The winning team, Onward Manufacturing, a local business in the area won the $200 team party prize at Bobby O’Brien’s as the winner of the league. Even though the league was focused on enjoying some fun in the sun after work, all participants received prizes for their participation.

“It was really nice to get away from the office and meet others in the area over a fun beach league. Bobby’s has a great taco night and we all enjoyed some beer, tacos and beach volleyball,” said Jason Kreller, a participant from Manulife Financial.

Beach Paradise Club has a new licensed facility in Waterdown at the Goals facility located at 70 Innovation Drive. If you’re looking for some beach volleyball action this winter, escape the cold and come join us for pick up on Friday evenings.
