The Hespeler Scorpions U15 Girls volleyball team from Cambridge Ontario, went to Windsor November 26th to complete in the first Ontario Volleyball Association Provincial Cup tournament of the season.
In round robin play they defeated the Stratford Stingers, Twin Bridges Thunder and South County Bandits to make it to the semi finals where they defeated Forest City (London) Blue. They stung Stratford again in the finals and won the gold medal. The Scorpions did not lose a set all day.
The Scorpions U15 competitive volleyball team are: Taylor Trush, Chey Omand, Maria Prudencio, Miranda Cullen, Raluca Oprean, Nicole Mulholland, Anna Larsson, Kristen Owen, Julia Curran, Sam Warner, Kristine Boileau, Cidalia Grischow-Bradley. The team’s Head Coach is Janet Cobbs-Mulholland and Assistant Coach is Brad McClure.
